The Indiana Pacers and free-agent swingman Lance Stephenson have agreed to a three-year, $12 million deal, with the first two years guaranteed and the third year a team option, according to a report by ESPN’s Chris Haynes.

Stephenson last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves who released him following his second 10-day contract with the team.

He played six games with Minnesota, averaging 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 11.2 minutes.

The 26-year-old opened the season with the New Orleans Pelicans, but was waived by the team in November after signing a one-year, non-guaranteed contract worth $1.2 million in the offseason.

Stephenson has also played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers, Charlotte Hornets and had an original stint with the Pacers, where his career began in 2010-11.
