Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will take the next couple weeks to see if he can recover from his abdominal injury, according to a report from ESPN.

Lynch suffered the injury in practice ahead of the Seahawks’ Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He played the majority of that game but Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said the injury started bothering him late in the game.

Lynch missed last week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers after being listed as questionable heading into it. The 29-year-old saw a specialist about the injury Monday.

Impressive rookie Thomas Rawls will fill in for Lynch while he’s out. Rawls has carried the ball 101 times this year for 604 yards and two touchdowns. Lynch has 417 yards and three touchdowns on 111 carries this year.
