It appears Marshawn Lynch may have played his last game.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, league sources say the Seattle Seahawks running back is telling those around him that he plans to retire.

Lynch suffered a hamstring injury early in the season and then missed the final seven regular season games after undergoing abdominal surgery. He finished the season with 417 yards rushing and three touchdowns.

The five-time Pro Bowler missed the Wild Card game against the Minnesota Vikings but returned for the Divisional Playoff loss to the Carolina Panthers, rushing for just 20 yards.

The report indicates that should Lynch decide to return, he would represent an $11.5 million cap hit for the Seahawks.
