Pittsburgh Steelers all-Pro running back Le'Veon Bell is facing a four-game suspension for violation of the NFL's drug policy, according to ESPN NFL Insider Dan Graziano.

"The suspension is the result of a missed test, not a failed one, and the reason it hasn't yet been announced is that the appeal process is still going on," Graziano wrote.

Bell's appeal date hasn't been set but is expected to be heard before the start of the regular season, writes Graziano.

The NFL suspended Bell for the first three games of the 2015 season as part of the fallout from an arrest in August 2014 on DUI and marijuana possession. The league later reduced the suspension to two games.
