The New York Yankees didn't want to hear this news.

According to a report from the New York Post, Yankees ace Masahiro Tanaka will fly back to New York for an MRI on his right arm. The Yankees are currently in Cleveland playing a series against the Indians.

Tanaka was roughed up Tuesday night, allowing 10 hits and five runs over 6 2/3 innings. The Yankees would end up losing to the Indians 5-3, falling four games behind the AL East leading Baltimore Orioles.

The 25-year-old rookie is 12-4 with a 2.51 earned run average and is in early contention for the AL Rookie of the Year and the AL Cy Young award.

New York is already without starting pitchers Ivan Nova, Michael Pineda and CC Sabathia.
