Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Stephane Robidas will have season-ending shoulder surgery this week.

Robidas missed Saturday night's blowout loss against the St. Louis Blues with the injury. The native of Sherbrooke, QC signed a three-year, $9 million contract with Toronto in the off-season as a free-agent.

The 38-year-old has one goal and six assists over 52 games in 2014-15 with the Leafs, his first season with the club.

Robidas is expected to be ready for training camp.
