The Kelowna Rockets have acquired defenceman Josh Morrissey from the Prince Albert Raiders.

Morrissey, the Winnipeg Jets' 2013 first-round draft pick, has scored six goals and 27 assists in 26 games with the Raiders in 2014-15. He is currently participating in Canada's World Junior selection camp.

As a returning member to the team, the likelihood is that he will be on the roster for the tournament, which runs from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.

The Rockets also acquired left wing Gage Quinney in the deal, sending 18-year-old forward Austin Glover, 19-year-old defender Jesse Lees, a 2016 second-round bantam pick and a 2017 third-round bantam pick to Prince Albert.
