CALGARY - It took them seven games, but the Calgary Roughnecks finally have their first win of the season.

Curtis Dickson scored seven goals as last year's championship finalists beat the Vancouver Stealth 16-13 on Saturday night in National Lacrosse League action.

Dane Dobbie had a hat trick for the Roughnecks (1-6) with Shawn Evans adding a pair of goals. Curtis Manning, Mike Carnegie, Daryl Veltman and Peter McFetridge rounded out the attack.

Rhys Duch and Corey Small each had four goals for Vancouver (3-4). Tyler Digby, Tyler Hass, Justin Salt, Mitch McMichael and Johnny Powless also scored.

Frankie Scigliano stopped 36 shots in 59:16 for the win. Mike Poulin played 44 seconds of relief for Calgary. Tyler Richards turned away 41-of-56 shots in 59:59 for the Stealth.

The Roughnecks converted on five-of-seven power plays while Vancouver went 3 for 6.
