After suffering her first loss as a professional mixed martial artist and losing the UFC women's bantamweight title, Ronda Rousey has been given a 180-day medical suspension.

Rousey (12-1) was knocked out in dramatic fashion by Holly Holm (10-0) at UFC 193 on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.

The UFC acted as its own governing body for the event due to a lack of a sanctioning organization in Australia and released the entire card's medical suspension information to record and suspension keepers for the Association of Boxing Commissions, MMA LLC.

Rousey's suspension could be lifted pending a negative CT scan.

Five other fighters were also given six-month medical suspensions, including strawweight champion Joanna Jedzrejczyk, who fractured her hand in her title defence over Canadian Valerie Letourneau.
