Michal Rozsival's season is over due to a fractured left ankle suffered in Thursday night's win over the Minnesota Wild.

With about 6 1/2 minutes played in the second period, the Chicago Blackhawks defenseman fell down while trying to guard Thomas Vanek, who went in on a short breakaway that Corey Crawford turned aside.

After play stopped, Rozsival was helped off the ice by teammates and taken into the locker room.

The 36-year-old has one assist and is averaging around 18 1/2 minutes of ice time in the playoffs.

The Blackhawks swept the Wild with a 4-3 on Thursday night. Chicago will play the winner of the Ducks/Flames series.
