SANDY, Utah - Olmes Garcia and Juan Manuel Martinez scored in a 4-minute span in the second half to help Real Salt Lake beat Santa Tecla of El Salvador 2-1 on Thursday night in CONCACAF Champions League.

Real Salt Lake leads Group G with seven points at 2-0-1, and can wrap up a spot in the quarterfinals with a victory or tie Oct. 20 in the round-robin finale at home against Guatemala's Club Municipal (1-1-1).

Garcia tied it on a header in the 73rd minute, and Martinez chipped in the winner in the 77th.

Irvin Herrera scored for Santa Tecla (0-2-2) in the 61st minute.
