CARDIFF -- Wales coach Warren Gatland made six changes to its starting line-up to face Scotland at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday in the Six Nations.

Dan Biggar will start at flyhalf for the first time of the tournament, teaming up with Mike Phillips at halfback. Three changes come in the backline with Liam Williams and Phillips replacing the injured duo Leigh Halfpenny and Rhys Webb.

Halfpenny, who dislocated his right shoulder against England, will undergo surgery on Friday and is expected to be out for up to four months. Webb has been released by the team following his ankle injury.

The rest of the backs are unchanged from Sunday's 29-18 loss at Twickenham that shattered Wales' hopes of retaining its title while Gethin Jenkins will become Wales' most-capped player when he makes his 105th appearance in the pack.?

Jenkins will play alongside forwards Ken Owens and Rhodri Jones, who have been handed their first starts of the campaign. In the second row, Luke Charteris returned from injury alongside Alun Wyn Jones.

"Saturday is an opportunity for us to put in a performance we know we can, and finish the Six Nations on a high," Gatland said. "Scotland will come looking to play some rugby. They had a morale-boosting win against Italy and were unlucky to lose against France in recent weeks."
