A new era in Canada men's soccer begins Wednesday when newly-appointed head coach Octavio Zambrano begins his tenure with a friendly vs. Scotland at Easter Road Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland. Wednesday's match against Scotland will be Canada's second match of the new calendar year. On Jan. 22, Canada defeated Bermuda 4-2.

Zambrano's roster for the match is heavily comprised of players who play for Europeans clubs, while several MLS players being left of the squad with their season having just recently begun.
