The 2013 SuperDraft was held on January 17 at the Indianapolis Convention Center. The 2013 draft featured two first round picks for each of Canada's MLS franchises as Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver each acquired an additional first-round draft pick via trade.

Traded draft picks
1. The New England Revolution acquired Toronto FC's first overall selection in exchange for the fourth overall pick and allocation money.
3. Toronto FC acquired the Portland Timbers' first-round choice along with GK Joe Bendik in exchange for F Ryan Johnson and GK Milos Kocic.
4. Toronto FC acquired the fourth pick in the draft and allocation money from the New England Revolution in exchange for the first overall pick. Toronto FC then traded the pick to the Vancouver Whitecaps for the 10th pick and allocation money.
5. The Vancouver Whitecaps acquired the Philadelphia Union's first-round choice along with allocation money and the #12 MLS Allocation Order slot in exchange for Vancouver's second-round choice and the the #1 MLS Allocation Order slot.
10. Toronto FC acquired the 10th pick and allocation money from the Vancouver Whitecaps in exchange for the fourth pick. Toronto then dealt the pick to Seattle for the 16th pick and allocation money.
11. The Colorado Rapids acquired the Chicago Fire first-round pick for midfielder Jeff Larentowicz.
13. The Houston Dynamo acquired the New York Red Bulls' first-round selection from the Portland Timbers in exchange for the MLS rights to F Kris Boyd. Portland previously acquired the pick from Houston along with allocation money in exchange for F Kenny Cooper.
16. The Toronto FC acquired the Seattle Sounders pick for the 10th pick overall and allocation money.
18. The Montreal Impact acquired the Houston Dynamo's first-round selection in exchange for F Brian Ching.
