HOUSTON -- Andre Hainault scored in the second half and the Houston Dynamo reached the quarterfinals of CONCACAF Champions League with a 1-1 tie Tuesday night against Honduran side CD Olimpia.

With the tie, Houston finished with a 2-0-2 record and 8 points to win Group 3, while Olimpia finished second with a 1-1-2 record and 5 points to finish second in the three-team group. Houston will face an undetermined opponent in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals in March.

Hainault's header in the 65th minute from outside the left 6-yard box went inside the near post after Nathan Sturgis' corner kick.

Douglas Caetano put Olimpia in front 1-0 in the 21st minute, hitting a free kick from 25 yards out on the left side on a line inside the far post.
