The changes at Toronto FC continue as the team has signed American goaltender Jon Conway and waived goaltender Brian Edwards.
Conway was placed on waivers by Chivas USA earlier this week.
"Conway is a great addition to our team, he's a strong character" said manager director of soccer Mo Johnston in a statement. "I had him in New York and Preki had him in Chivas so we both know him very well. We wish Brian all the best in his career; he's always been a model professional with us in Toronto."
This will be the 32-year old Conway's 11th sason in the MLS. The Media, Pennsylvania native was originally a third round pick, 28th overall, in the 2000 MLS SuperDraft by the San Jose Earthquakes.
Edwards was drafted by TFC in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft in the second round, 28th overall. He finishes his Toronto FC career with nine games played with a record of 3-4-2.
