London, England (Sports Network) - After a great deal of speculation, Arsenal confirmed the signing of Spanish striker Santi Cazorla on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old has joined the Gunners from La Liga club Malaga for an undisclosed fee. The length of the deal has not been disclosed, but it is reported to be a long-term deal.

"Santi Cazorla is a great signing for us," said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. "He's a player who will add significant quality to our squad."

Cazorla has amassed 45 caps for Spain and was a member of the country's Euro- winning teams of 2008 and 2012.
