Paris, France (Sports Network) - PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss his side's next two Ligue 1 contests after picking up a red card last weekend against St Etienne.

The Sweden international was sent off after a poor challenge on St Etienne goalkeeper Stephane Ruffier, and has been handed his punishment by the Professional Football League's disciplinary commission.

Because of the suspension the 31-year-old will miss PSG's clash at Montpellier on Sunday and a home contest with Nice one week later.

Ibrahimovic leads Ligue 1 with 10 goals this season.
