BARCELONA, Spain - Real Betis drew 0-0 at Elche on Sunday as it remained stuck at the bottom of the Spanish league and winless in 14 away games this season.

The result left Betis nine points from safety with 10 rounds to play.

Elche edged four points clear of the relegation zone with its sixth straight home game without a loss.

Betis lost left back Didac Vila to an injury in the 14th minute, only to have his replacement, Jose Caro, also leave due to injury before halftime.

Later, Barcelona hosts Osasuna needing to win to stay within four points of leader Real Madrid before next round's "clasico" match. Real Sociedad welcomes Valencia, and Valladolid visits Sevilla.
