FRANKFURT, Germany -- Bayern Munich defender Rafinha has been banned for three Bundesliga matches after getting a late red card in the 3-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund.

Rafinha was sent off for sticking his hand into the face of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The Brazilian defender will miss matches against Eintracht Braunschweig, Werder Bremen and Hamburger SV and will be available for the last match of the season at home against Stuttgart.

Bayern has already clinched the championship.
