As the World Cup in Brazil starts to wind down, the buzz for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada is in full swing.

The release event for the promotional poster was held during Thursday's FIFA World Cup daily media briefing, showcasing Canada's diversity and multiculturalism and geographic wilderness.

Those in attendance and overseeing the event were National Organising Committee (NOC) Chairman Victor Montagliani, FIFA Executive Committee member and chairwoman FIFA Women's World Cup Lydia Nsekera, and FIFA World Cup ambassador, Brazilian star Marta.

The FIFA Women's World Cup runs next year from June 6 to July 5 in Edmonton, Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and Winnipeg.

Twenty-four will take part in the tournament. Canada automatically qualifies as the host nation, while Australia, China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand have already secured places from Asian qualifying.

The field was expanded from 16 teams after the 2011 World Cup.
