Real Madrid is reportedly ready to bring James Rodriguez to the Bernabeu.

According to Spanish soccer publication Cadena Ser, Real is set to pay 70 million euros for the striker.

The 23-year-old is fresh off a breakout performance at the 2014 World Cup that saw him score six goals in five matches and capture the Golden Boot as the tournament's top scorer.

Colombia lost to Brazil in the World Cup quarter-finals.

He spent 2013-14 with Monaco of Ligue 1, scoring nine goals in 34 appearances. He led the league in assists with 12.

James spent three seasons with Porto prior to his move to Monaco, collecting 25 goals in 63 appearances.
