Toronto FC head coach Ryan Nelsen has confirmed that striker Jermain Defoe is ready to return for Saturday's home match against the Chicago Fire.
Defoe has missed the club's last three games after sustaining a groin injury during the club's 3-0 loss to D.C. United on July 30.
The English striker has scored 11 goals in 15 games played with the Reds this season for a comfortable team lead and a share of fith overall in the League.
Defenders Steven Caldwell and Mark Bloom are also fit for the match.
Toronto FC remains in third in the Eastern Conference with 32 points through 22 games. The club went 2-1 in Defoe's absence, dropping only its last match against defending MLS Champs Sporting Kansas City.
