Manchester United appears to have made another move in an attempt to get their still-winless 2014-15 Premier League season on track.
According to BBC.com, the club has agreed to a 13.8 million pound transfer fee with Ajax for Dutch international Daley Blind.
The club confirmed the move via Twitter on Saturday morning.
The 24-year-old can play both left back and defensive midfield and was a member of United manager Louis van Gaal's Netherlands squad at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Van Gaal played it cautious when addressing the Blind addition after Saturday's 0-0 draw against Burnley.
"He'll come to Manchester to have a medical, and then we might have a new player," the Dutchman said.
Blind's transfer is subject to a team physical.
In 120 career appearances with Ajax, Blind has scored three goals. He has won four consecutive Eredivise titles with Ajax and has also earned 19 caps with the Dutch national team.
