The second of three meetings between the Calgary Stampeders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers kicks off tonight from Investors Group Field.

Catch the action on Thursday Night Football on the TSN Network and TSN GO at 8:30pm et/5:30pm pt.

The two sides faced each other in a Canada Day clash at McMahon Stadium in Week 2. Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell threw for over 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns while the Bombers gave up 30 unanswered points en route to a 36-22 loss.

The Stampeders (1-1-1) are coming off a bye week and have won 13 straight games that have followed the bye. The Blue Bombers, meanwhile, are looking for their first home win after loses to the Montreal Alouettes in Week 1 and to the Edmonton Eskimos last week.

Bombers quarterback Drew Willy is 1-2 in his career against the Stamps. His 1,239 passing yards and 72.2 completion percentage both rank second in the CFL. Mitchell is 6-1 against the Blue and Gold.

Tonight's contest features two Canadian tailbacks in the Bombers’ Andrew Harris and Jerome Messam of the Stamps. Harris has 434 yards from scrimmage through four games – 178 rushing, 256 receiving – and Messam has 217, 185 rushing and 32 receiving.

The Bombers have made three changes to their roster, adding DE Trent Corney, SB Thomas Mayo and WR/KR Quincy McDuffie. Coming off are SB Ryan Smith (lower body), DE Shayon Green and WR S.J. Haidara. Mayo replaces Smith in the starting offence while Adrian Hubbard is the starting defensive end.

The Stampeders placed WR Joe West on the six-game injured list with a foot injury Wednesday. It is expected that Greg Wilson will take West's spot on the active roster. Also, DL Micah Johnson is expected to be in the lineup this evening. Johnson left Calgary's Week 2 game against the Blue Bombers with an illness.  He was also held out of practice on Monday.
