CALGARY - The Calgary Stampeders re-signed receiver Kamar Jorden on Tuesday while releasing offensive lineman Edwin Harrison and kick-returner/running back Tim Brown.

Jordan has spent the last two seasons with Calgary, appearing in three games. The six-foot-three, 205-pound receiver has three catches for 13 yards.

"Over his time here, Kamar has continued to work hard while patiently waiting for his chance to play," Calgary GM John Hufnagel said in a statement. "He's a big receiver with a lot of potential and I expect him to come to training camp and make every effort to earn a more prominent role on the team."

Jorden attended training camp with the NFL's Minnesota Vikings and played for the Arena Football League's Spokane Shock before signing with the Stampeders in 2014.

Harrison played 48 regular-season games over six seasons with Calgary. He began the 2015 campaign as the starting left tackle before suffering a season-ending leg injury.

Brown signed with Calgary in training camp after four seasons with B.C. He appeared in 12 regular-season games with the Stampeders, accumulating 1,287 return yards and 47 yards rushing on 11 carries.
