Even while losing defensive starters to injuries, the Calgary Stampeders remain the top team in the TSN.ca CFL Power Rankings.

Even while losing defensive starters to injuries, the Calgary Stampeders remain the top team in the TSN.ca CFL Power Rankings, ahead of the Edmonton Eskimos and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

There wasn't a lot of change this week, with an Ottawa-Toronto flip-flop the only move after the Argonauts' head-to-head win.

It was a little close for comfort at Winnipeg, and the Stamps have lost two defensive starters to injury, but they still cling to the top spot, thanks to a potent attack, led by QB Bo Levi Mitchell and SB Marquay McDaniel.

Key Injuries: DT Corey Mace (foot), T Edwin Harrison (leg), DB Joe Burnett (ankle), MLB Juwan Simpson (clavicle).

Edmonton Eskimos

Rallied in the fourth quarter to win against B.C., getting a lift in the running game from RB Chad Simpson, who gained 84 yards on 18 touches.

Key Injuries: RB John White (Achilles), G Simeon Rottier (knee), WR Shamawd Chambers (knee), G Greg Wojt (concussion).

Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Can the Tiger-Cats pull it together? It's been a great season, battling through injuries the whole way, but now they have to head into the stretch run with QB Ryan Mathews trying to learn on the job.

Key Injuries: DT Brian Bulcke (knee), DT Linden Gaydosh (Achilles), RB C.J. Gable (elbow), WR Andy Fantuz (arm), DE Eric Norwood (undisclosed), DB Johnny Sears Jr. (undisclosed) and S Mike Daly (undisclosed), WR Bakari Grant (undisclosed), QB Zach Collaros (knee).

A big road win in Ottawa prompts the only change in this week's rankings. The Argos have quite the balanced passing attack, with none of their receivers among the Top 10 in the league, but it seems that there is always a contribution to be made by Tori Gurley, Vidal Hazelton and Kevin Elliott. Chad Owens, who can still shake and bake in the return game, has been an after-thought in the passing attack after two strong games to start the year.

Key Injuries: QB Ricky Ray (shoulder), SB Andre Durie (knee).

Ottawa Redblacks

Losing at home to Toronto was a bit of a wake-up call for a Redblacks team that had won their previous three games. Once they fell behind early, it was an uphill fight and those don't usually go very well.

Key Injuries: WR Marcus Henry (undisclosed), MLB Travis Brown (shoulder).

Montreal Alouettes

Throwing four interceptions -- three to the same guy! -- pretty much set Montreal's fate at Saskatchewan. Not being able to stop Riders RB Jerome Messam was a problem, too.

Key Injuries: DE Aaron Lavarias (arm), WR James Rodgers (undisclosed), QB Dan LeFevour (shoulder), LB Bear Woods (pectoral).

B.C. Lions

Lost for the fifth time in six games and still can't fall below third in the West. If they stumble at home against Saskatchewan this week, though, it could get interesting.

Key Injuries:  QB Travis Lulay (knee).

Winnipeg Blue Bombers

QB Matt Nichols gave the Bombers a chance against Calgary, and they got a rough break with a late penalty call that the league apologized for, but they ultimately fell short.

Key Injuries:  QB Drew Willy (knee), RB Paris Cotton (arm).

Saskatchewan Roughriders

The Riders have been better than their record all season, and all those close losses are going to haunt them if they can't pull off a miracle playoff berth, but they're not going to be an easy touch in the final five games of the season.

Key Injuries:  QB Darian Durant (Achilles), ILB Shea Emry (neck), SB Chris Getzlaf (lower body).
