OSHAWA, Ont. - Josh Sterk scored twice to lead the Oshawa Generals to a 7-1 rout of the Ottawa 67's in Monday's Ontario Hockey League action.

The win moves the Generals (6-1-1) into first place in the OHL Eastern Conference, one point up on Belleville.

Tobias Lindberg, Cole Cassels, Bradley Latour, Michael Dal Colle and Anthony Cirelli also scored for Oshawa, while Chris Carlisle and Stephen Desrocher each added two assists.

Dante Salituro had the only goal for Ottawa (2-5-0).

Ken Appleby had 18 saves for Oshawa, while Leo Lazarev stopped 44 shots for Ottawa.

Oshawa was 1-for-6 on the power play, while Ottawa was shut out in seven man-advantage opportunities.

Rangers 6 Storm 5

At Kitchener, Ont., Nick Magyar scored twice to lead the Rangers over Guelph.

Connor Bunnaman, Justin Bailey, Liam Maaskant and Dmitrii Sergeev also scored for Kitchener (3-3-1), while Adam Mascherin added three assists.

Pius Suter scored twice for Guelph (4-2-0). Jason Dickinson, Tyler Boston and Ben Harpur had the other goals.

Matthew Greenfield made 26 saves for the Rangers, while Matthew Mancina and Justin Nichols combined for 21 saves for the Storm.

Steelheads 3 Frontenacs 2 (SO)

At Mississauga, Ont., Lucas Venuto had the deciding shootout goal as the Steelheads edged Kingston.

Josh Burnside and Bryson Cianfrone scored in regulation for Mississauga (4-1-0).

Conor McGlynn had both goals for Kingston (3-3-1).

Spencer Martin made 35 saves for the Steelheads while Lucas Peressini made 23 saves for Kingston.

Battalion 4 Colts 1

At North Bay, Ont., Nick Paul scored three goals to lead the Battalion over Barrie.

Zach Bratina had the other goal for North Bay (3-0-3) and Mike Amadio contributed two assists.

Justin Scott scored for Barrie (5-2-1).

Jake Smith made 20 saves for the Battalion while Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 32 shots for the Colts.
