The NHLPA's Review Committee sent a memo to all National Hockey League players last night outlining how they expect the union's office to conduct business and run smoothly, at least on a short term basis.

Mike Ouelett, the PA's director of business affairs will temporarily assume the functions of the executive director, while associate counsel, Roland Lee will temporarily assume the role of general counsel.

Neither Ouelett nor Lee have been appointed to either position on an "interim" basis; rather, they will fulfill their roles until the executive board can conduct its next conference call, scheduled for November 9th.

Sources say the review committee has the power to do this based on the recent resolution granting an internal review, which is already underway.

In addition, Ron Pink has resigned from his position with the NHLPA Advisory Board.  The PA received his letter of resignation earlier Saturday.

Sources have also said that Ken Baumgartner has resigned from the NHLPA Advisory Board as well.
