The National Hockey League has decided no further discipline is warranted towards Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski over an alleged biting incident that occurred during Toronto's 6-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.

According to the League it could not be determined whether or not Grabovski actually bit Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty.

The hearing was originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon but was postponed by a day. The hearing was instead held by phone on Monday.

Grabovski will be in the Maple Leafs' line-up on Monday night when they host the Philadelphia Flyers.

The alleged incident took place during a third period scrum when several players came together after the whistle and Pacioretty grabbed Grabovski's face with his bare hand and pulled at the Leafs' forward.

Grabovski received a 10-minute misconduct and a roughing minor after the scuffle. Pacioretty was also issued a 10-minute misconduct.

Pacioretty said he received a tetanus shot after the game as a precaution.

Members of the Maple Leafs stated that they did not see Grabovski bite Pacioretty, but they added that he was clearly provoked.

The Maple Leafs and Canadiens will meet next February 27 on TSN.

The semifinals continue as Detroit's Pavel Datsyuk faces Cody Hodgson of the Sabres.
