According to a report from Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal, Vladimir Guerrero is looking to make a comeback.

The 38-year-old former MVP didn't play in the majors last year, but batted .358 with four home runs and 12 RBIs in 12 minor league games for the Toronto Blue Jays before requesting his release.

Rosenthal reports that Guerrero, who hit .188 over eight games in Dominican winter ball, is willing to accept a minor league deal for this season.

Guerrero is a career .318 hitter with 449 home runs and 1496 RBIs. To go with his 2004 AL MVP award, the Dominican Republic native is also a nine-time All-Star and eight-time Silver Slugger award winner.
