Unrestricted free agent defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron has signed a three-year deal to play with the Zurich ZSC Lions of Switzerland's National A League.

The 32-year old Bergeron will join Marc Crawford, who is the team's coach after signing a two-year contract with the club last summer.

The native of Trois-Rivieres, Que, spent 10 seasons in the NHL after signing with the Edmonton Oilers as a free agent in 2001. He played 490 career games with the Oilers, New York Islanders, Anaheim Ducks, Minnesota Wild, Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes, registering 82 goals and 153 assists for 235 career points.
