TSN's CFL POY semi-finals are here!

After a tough couple rounds of fan voting, Hamilton Tiger-Cats' C.J. Gable takes on the legendary Geroy Simon of the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Read the play breakdowns below and then make sure you go vote!

C.J. Gable

The B.C. Lions pay a visit to Alumni Stadium on the campus of the University of Guelph to take on the Tiger-Cats and Gable comes up with a circus play midway through the second quarter. With a 1st-and-10 at the Lions' 25-yard line, Tiger-Cats quarterback Henry Burris spots Gable as an outlet. Gable catches the ball and is immediately met by a Lions defender who goes low in an attempt to bring him down. Gable pulls an aerial spin-o-rama move to elude the tackler and remains on his feet. When he gets facing in the right direction again, he avoids being sandwiched by two defenders by leaping above them, is momentarily suspended in mid-air before landing on the back of a Lions player and hitting the ground inside the 10-yard line. First down, Tiger-Cats.

Geroy Simon

It was a free play for the Saskatchewan Roughriders after the Toronto Argonauts jumped offside, and Geroy Simon took full advantage with a circus catch for a first down. Up 20-12 late in the first half in Week 12, Roughriders QB Darian Durant took the snap in the shotgun from Saskatchewan's own 35-yard line. The QB throws it 25 yards over the middle to his future Hall of Fame receiver Simon, who makes an incredible one-handed catch. As impressive as the catch itself was, Simon held on to the ball while taking a punishing blow from Argonauts safety Matt Black. Topped off with a signature Geroy Simon ball flip, it was a huge first down and highlight reel play for the Green Riders. Superman's still got it.

So who will move on to the finals of the 2013 TSN CFL POY Showdown? The choice is yours, so vote now!
