The Saskatoon Blades wasted no time getting back in the win column thanks to a victory over their provincial rivals.
Milan Kytnar scored twice and added an assist as the Blades downed the Regina Pats 6-2 in Western Hockey League action Tuesday.
The East Division-leading Blades had a 10-game winning streak ended Saturday after a 4-3 loss at the hands of the struggling Moose Jaw Warriors.
They wasted no time putting that loss out of their minds with a solid performance against Regina.
Elsewhere in the WHL it was: Brandon 5 Red Deer 0; Calgary 6 Edmonton 2; and Kelowna 6 Kamloops 1.
At Saskatoon, Adam Chorneyko, Josh Nicholls, Teigan Zahn and Chris Langkow also scored for the Blades (38-12-3-1).
Matt Robertson and Jordan Eberle replied for the Pats (23-25-1-5).
Braden Holtby made 26 saves for the Blades while Linden Rowat stopped 15 shots for the Pats.
Wheat Kings 5 Rebels 0
At Brandon, Man., Andrew Hayes made 20 saves for the Wheat Kings' first shutout of the season in a victory over Red Deer.
Nathan Green, Mark Stone, Matt Calvert, Brayden Schenn and Colby Robak scored for the Wheat Kings (35-15-3-1).
The Rebels fell to 17-27-1-7.
Hitmen 6 Oil Kings 2
At Calgary, Joel Broda scored his league-leading 40th goal of the season and the Hitmen scored five straight times en route to a win over Edmonton.
Bostjan Golicic, Paul Postma, Brett Sonne, Kyle Bortis and Brandon Kozun also scored for the Hitmen (44-8-3-1).
Brent Raedeke and Brett Breitkreuz scored for the Oil Kings (23-27-2-4).

At Kamloops, B.C., Jamie Benn scored three times to lead Kelowna to a thumping of the Blazers.
Mikael Backlund, Cody Almond and Curt Gogol, with his first WHL goal, also scored for Kelowna (30-19-1-2).
Kenton Dulle replied for Kamloops (25-25-1-4).
