The Ottawa Senators will have to make do with the services of Mike Brodeur and Brian Elliott for a little while, as the team said Friday that goaltender Pascal Leclaire will be sidelined for at least the next week with a concussion.

Leclaire was hurt in practice during a 2-on-1 drill on Thursday after being hit by a shot.

The injury prompted the team to recall Brodeur from Binghamton of the American Hockey League.

In other news on the injury front, captain Daniel Alfredsson (separated shoulder) said the decision to return to the lineup is his, but he will wait until Saturday to decide if he will come back earlier than next week's projected return.
