Richard Hamilton added 12 points, seven assists, and five rebounds for the Pistons, who have won three of four. Charlie Villanueva and Tayshaun Prince each chipped in 11 points. Rodney Stuckey tallied 10 points and six assists for Detroit, which outscored Minnesota 33-13 in the third.
Kevin Love finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds off the bench for the Timberwolves, who have dropped three straight following a four-game win streak. Al Jefferson ended with 14 points and five boards, while Corey Brewer added 11 points and six assists for Minnesota, which has lost 11 of its last 12 road games.
