Carey Price will look to get back on track tonight when he goes between the pipes for the Montreal Canadiens against the Florida Panthers.
The last time Price was on the ice at the Bell Centre was last week, when he allowed four goals on eight shots in a 4-2 loss to the Boston Bruins, causing fans to jeer him as he was replaced by backup Curtis Sanford midway through the game.
Price, who has allowed 10 goals on 37 shots in two preseason games, will look for his first win.
This is Montreal's fourth game in four nights.
Buffalo Sabres vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
The Leafs and Sabres lock up in tonight, but prospect Nazem Kadri won't be on the ice.
A lot was expected from the 19-year-old, but he hasn't shone quite as brightly as many had hoped in the preseason.
"This is not uncommon at all with a young player that there's a lot of hype, maybe a lot of pressure on a nearly hometown kid," Brian Burke told the Media on Sunday. "Whatever the reasons. We haven't lost faith at all in Nazem Kadri. But his play right now indicates he's not ready to contribute at this level."
With regulars Ryan Miller, Thomas Vanek, Tim Connolly, Tyler Myers, Shaone Morrisonn and Rob Niedermayer all getting the night off, the Sabres will start Patrick Lalime in the net, with Jhonas Enroth as the back up.
Starting tonight, the Sabres will be playing five preseason games in seven days.
The other preseason game tonight will see the Atlanta Thrashers play the Nashville Predators.
