Thrashers place F Antropov on injured reserve

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Thrashers have placed forward Nik Antropov on injured reserve with a hip injury.

The 30-year-old Antropov has seven goals and 11 assists in 35 games this season, his second with Atlanta.

In a related move, the Thrashers recalled forward Tim Stapleton from Chicago of the American Hockey League.
