Ducks, Bruins complete minor four player deal

The Anaheim Ducks and Boston Bruins have made a four player minor league swap.

The Ducks have acquired forward Brian McGrattan and defenceman Sean Zimmerman in exchange they have sent forwards Stefan Chaput and David Laliberte to the Bruins.

McGrattan, who has played previously in the NHL with the Ottawa Senators, Phoenix Coyotes and Calgary Flames, has five points and 97 penalty minutes in 39 games this season playing for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League.

Zimmerman has played for both the Rochester Americans and Providence Bruins this season and has four points in 30 games this season.  He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2005 NHL entry draft by the New Jersey Devils.

Chaput has ten points so far this year in 47 games, having spent time with both the Charlotte Checkers and Syracuse Crunch of the AHL.

Laliberte, who played 11 games with the Philadelphia Flyers during the 2009-10 season, has 18 points and 52 penalty minutes in 48 games this year split between the Adirondack Phantoms and the Syracuse Crunch.
