Bolduc scores twice, adds assist to lead Moose over Barons

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Alexandre Bolduc had two goals and an assist as the Manitoba Moose defeated the Oklahoma City Barons 4-1 in American Hockey League action Tuesday.

Guillaume Desbiens had a goal and two assists for the North Division leading Moose (35-23-6), while Cody Hodgson also scored.

Richard Petiot replied for the Barons (33-23-7).

Tyler Weiman made 28 saves for the Moose while Martin Gerber stopped 24 shots for the Barons.

Hodgson opened the scoring 1:29 into the game, picking up a Joel Perrault feed and beating Gerber with a wrist shot. It was Hodgson's first goal not scored into an empty net since Feb. 16.

Bolduc put the Moose up 2-0 2:57 into the second period with a short-handed goal. Bolduc used the Barons Bryan Helmer as a screen while firing a shot by Gerber's glove. It was Manitoba's second short-handed goal in three games and eighth on the season.

Desbiens made it 3-0 at 8:52 of the second, redirected Sergei Shirokov's pass past Gerber for a power-play goal.

Bolduc made it 4-0 at 8:50 of the third period. Desbiens set op Bolduc, who fired a wrist shot past Gerber for Manitoba's second power-play goal of the game.

Petiot's goal midway through the third spoiled Weiman's shutout bid.
