The Ottawa Senators added some depth to their forward position on Tuesday.
The club announced that 34-year-old Mark Parrish signed one-year, two-way contract.
Parrish spent last season with the Buffalo Sabres organization, playing 56 games with the American Hockey League's Portland Pirates and two National Hockey League matches.
With the Pirates, Parrish scored 17 goals and 34 assists while adding 12 penalty minutes. He went scoreless in two games with the Sabres.
The 5-11, 199-pound native of Bloomington, Minn., has appeared in 722 career NHL games with the Florida Panthers, New York Islanders, Los Angeles Kings, Dallas Stars, Tampa Bay Lightning and Buffalo. He has scored 216 goals and added 171 assists for 387 career points while adding 246 penalty minutes.
