Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun joins TSN and Bell Media Radio Staff

TSN and Bell Media Radio announced on Thursday that highly-respected ESPN hockey journalist Pierre LeBrun will join the networks as a Hockey Insider. LeBrun will continue to work for ESPN writing his influential hockey blog on

In his new role at TSN, LeBrun will work closely with TSN's team of Hockey Insiders and analysts breaking news and delivering in-depth analysis on TSN's slate of hockey programs and specials. Fans can expect to see LeBrun regularly on NHL ON TSN, SportsCentre, That's Hockey, and That's Hockey 2Nite as well as a contributor to TSN's extensive TRADECENTRE, FREE AGENT FRENZY and NHL ENTRY DRAFT coverage.

LeBrun will also be a regular contributor on Bell Media's sports radio outlets TSN RADIO 1050, The Team 1040 in Vancouver and THE TEAM 990 in Montreal.

LeBrun will join McKenzie, Dreger and host James Duthie on Insider Trading – a new NHL on TSN segment that provides the inside word on everything happening in the hockey world.

Among the most connected journalists in hockey, LeBrun has covered the NHL's biggest stories and events for close to 20 years. Prior to joining ESPN, LeBrun was a national hockey reporter for the Canadian Press.  In 2005, LeBrun was the recipient of Sport Media Canada's Outstanding Sports Writing Award for his coverage of the 2004-05 NHL Lockout.  He has also been a contributor to Hockey Night in Canada.
