WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jets have rounded out their coaching staff by adding Pascal Vincent as an assistant coach.

Under head coach Claude Noel, Vincent joins assistants Charlie Huddy and Wade Flaherty (goalies) on the National Hockey League team's coaching staff.

Vincent, 39, has been a head coach in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the past 12 seasons, the latest with the Montreal Juniors.

His record in 12 seasons was 429-313-87 and included nine playoff series wins and the Ron Lapointe Trophy as coach of the year in 2007-08 when he coached the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.

Vincent was also general manager of teams in Montreal and Cape Breton and was QMJHL general manager of the year in 2006-07 when his Cape Breton team went 46-22-2 and advanced to the third round of the playoffs with current Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec.
