Staying or Going?
It appears the Montreal Canadiens will be sellers at the trade deadline. GM Pierre Gauthier says if the Habs have the opportunity to make a good deal, he will do it. The question is who will go. RDS.ca suggests Scott Gomez and Hal Gill won't be around next year, while Travis Moen, Andrei Kostitsyn, and Mathieu Darche are all question marks.
The Anaheim Ducks locked up defencemen Francois Beauchemin to a three-year contract on Friday, and that deal could have implications for other players on the Ducks. The Orange County Register looks at some players the Ducks could move at the deadline if they are out of playoff contention.
Teams are in the process of deciding whether they will be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline, and how active in trade talks they'll be. USA Today outlines a number of teams that could be active making trades.
