The Nashville Predators and forward Paul Gaustad have agreed to a four-year, $13 million contract.
Gaustad is coming off of a four-year, $9.2 million contract and will earn an average of $3.25 million per year on his new deal.
The 30-year-old had seven goals and 14 assists with 76 penalty minutes in 70 games with the Buffalo Sabres and Predators last season.
The Sabres traded Gaustad and a fourth round selection in 2013 to the Predators for a first round selection in 2012.
Gaustad was drafted by the Sabres in the seventh round (220th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
