Toronto, ON (July 12, 2012) – TSN and Kraft Canada are moseying over to the heart of Alberta cattle country this summer, as the town of Cochrane has been named the third winning community in this year's Kraft Celebration Tour.

As part of the Kraft Celebration Tour, Cochrane will host a special edition of SPORTSCENTRE featuring anchors Darren Dutchyshen and Kate Beirness when they broadcast live from the Alberta community on Sunday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. ET on TSN.

Cochrane also receives $25,000 from Kraft Canada to put towards improvements to Mitford Pond Park.

With a population of more than 13,000 residents, the town of Cochrane is located just 20 minutes northwest of Calgary against the majestic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.  The town gets its name from local rancher Matthew Cochrane, who established Alberta's first large-scale livestock operation – Cochrane Ranch – in the 1880s.  Mitford Pond Park is the recreational heart of Cochrane and proposed improvements to the facility include a change area for the community's annual pond hockey tournament.

Cochrane joins Creston, B.C., and Clarenville, NL, as one of the 10 winning communities in the Kraft Celebration Tour.  Cochrane was named to the tour after winning a national, head-to-head online vote over Innisfail, AB.  Cochrane brought home the victory with 154,803 votes, while Innisfail amassed a total of 96,120 votes in support of its nomination.

Canadians can decide the other winning communities for the Kraft Celebration Tour.  One pair of communities is featured each weekday through July 20, and Canadians can visit KraftCelebrationTour.ca or Tourneedecelebrationkraft.ca to vote for their favourite communities.  Voting is unlimited and runs from 12 noon ET each day for a 24-hour period.

During the voting period, SPORTSCENTRE on TSN and SPORTS 30 on RDS profile each match-up with a look at the duelling communities and their proposed recreation facility improvement projects.  Results of each vote will be announced the following weekday on SPORTSCENTRE and SPORTS 30.
