Jonathan Drouin is off to a great start in his showcase season for the NHL Draft, as the Halifax Mooseheads winger was the first player of the 2012-13 campaign to be named the QMJHL's first star of the week.

The 17-year-old leads the QMJHL scoring list with two goals, five assists and a plus-6 rating.

Drouin and linemate (and potential first-overall selection in 2013) Nathan MacKinnon combined for three goals and nine points as the Mooseheads crushed the host P.E.I. Rocket 8-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Drouin, a projected first-round prospect for next June's NHL draft, was close to cracking the Top 10 in Bob McKenzie's September draft ranking, compiled by voting from various NHL scouts.

Mikhail Grigorenko of the Quebec Remparts tallied six points over the past week and was named was the second star while Carl Hozjan of the Rimouski Oceanic (0.61 GAA, .978 Sv%) was the third star.
