BLED, Slovenia -- Canadian ice dancers Andreanne Poulin and Marc-Andre Servant won bronze medal Saturday on the fifth stop of the ISU junior Grand Prix circuit.
Americans Alexandra Aldridge and Daniel Eaton won the gold medal with 138.43 points, while Anna Yanovskaya and Sergey Mozgov of Russia were second at 128.81.
Poulin, from Ile-Bizard, Que., and Servant, from Vaudreuil, Que., followed with 126.57, a personal best for the Canadian junior champions.
"We are very happy and gave it our all," said Servant.
It was the second bronze medal this season for the team and puts them in excellent position for a spot in the Grand Prix Final in December in Sochi, Russia.
Caelen Dalmer of Victoria and Shane Firus of North Vancouver finished sixth.
Hae Jin Kim of South Korea took the women's singles gold. American Barbie Long was second while Evgenia Gerasimova of Russia finished third.
Julianne Seguin of Longueuil, Que., posted the ninth best free skate to remain 10th overall with a personal best 123.69. She was seventh last month at the season-opening stop in Courchevel, France, her international debut.
"I skated better than in Courchevel despite the different result," Seguin said. "I am pleased with my improvement and will continue to work hard and be more consistent in my performance."
