MONTREAL -- The Montreal Alouettes will be without Brandon London for the rest of the CFL season after the wide receiver had knee surgery on Wednesday.

The team announced he will need three months to recover from surgery to repair an injured meniscus. He was hurt in Montreal's 24-12 win in Toronto on Sunday.

Coach Marc Trestman said this week an initial estimation had London missing four-to-six weeks, which opened the possibility be could be ready to return in time for the East Division final on Nov. 18.

London was second on the team in receiving with 43 catches for 843 yards.

The club will also be missing receiver S.J. Green, kick returner Trent Guy and running back Victor Anderson for a game Saturday against the Roughriders in Regina. Green is expected back next week.
