In what could be his last fight in the UFC, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has verbally agreed to take on up-and-coming light heavyweight contender Glover Teixeira on Jan. 26 in Chicago, according to the promotion's website.

Jackson, who's relationship with the UFC has grown strained over his last few fights, has just one fight remaining on his contract. That, combined with the fact the former champion is riding a two-fight losing streak, has many speculating the fight with Teixeira will be his last appearance inside the octagon.

The bout was originally scheduled for Oct. 13 at UFC 153 in Rio de Janeiro, but Jackson was forced to withdraw due to an injury.

After exchanging barbs a few weeks ago, Jackson took to Twitter Wednesday night calling out the Brazilian.

"Outside the cage, I hate no one. Life is too short for that," Jackson said. "Inside the cage, my job is to destroy.

"Glover is done on Jan. 26 in Chicago."

Teixeira is riding a 17-fight win streak and has won both his fights in the UFC, including a TKO of Fabio Maldonado at UFC 153.

The event titled, "UFC on FOX 6" had already announced a title fight between flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and The Ultimate Fighter 14 winner John Dodson.

Also scheduled on the card are matchups between featherweights Clay Guida and Hatsu Hioki and lightweights Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis.
